Former Water Department Superintendent Arrested
TITUSVILLE, Fla. Former Titusville Water Department Superintendent Jeffrey E. Wayner was booked into custody on February 10, 2026, according to records from the Orange County Corrections Department.

Jail records list Wayner, 54, as being taken into custody on an out-of-county warrant, with the underlying charge described as grand theft of $750 or more but less than $5,000, referenced through an ICJIS affidavit. The case was processed as an out-of-county matter, indicating that the warrant originated outside Orange County.

Bond for the charge was set at $2,500, according to the booking information.

Wayner previously served as superintendent of the Titusville Water Department, a senior role overseeing municipal water operations. No details regarding the alleged conduct leading to the charge were included in the publicly available booking record, and court filings have not yet been released.

At this stage, the booking reflects an arrest on a warrant, not a conviction. As with all criminal cases, Wayner is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.

Further information is expected to become available once the originating jurisdiction releases charging documents or the case appears on a court docket.
